Cheatengine.org ~ is it safe?

I am about to download cheatengine5.5 from CHEATENGINE.ORG in order to cheat in bloons tower defense 3. ive seen lots of people use it on youtube and such to beat the game and i just want to know if anyone has used it before and if its safe before i hit install.|||It is 100% safe and any reports from your Virus Program are False Positives, it works, and is quite simple to use ;)
